windmill in Choctaw Park, Choctaw, Oklahoma, on a clear day in January (c2014, KB)

When winter was here, spring couldn’t arrive fast enough, and yet there were days like this to remind us to be patient. Seasons turn. All is well.

Spring in Oklahoma, however, is also a time of danger: fierce thunderstorms, damaging hailstorms, forceful winds, and deadly tornadoes.

Pray we survive. Pray we’re thankful for clear skies.
